Mulhouse Campsites

Priston

Recommended Posts

I’ve never camped near Mulhouse, but the most convenient campsite for a brief stop to visit the car museum will be "Camping Municipal de l’Ill” within the city itself, near to the river and open from 1 April.

It’s location is shown here

Comments suggest it’s probably not the greatest of places for a long stay in the ‘tourist season’, but it should be OK in late-Spring.

We visited the museum a couple of years ago, but can't remember where we stayed, but the purpose of this post may sound rather silly, but is serious.

The Museum is absolutely fantastic, and I'd love to go again.

However, it is made to look even bigger and better by the use of mirrors.

My wife doesn't have the best eyesight, and actually walked into one of these huge mirrors, hurting herself quite badly.

Be careful!

Alan, it is worth putting up with whatever campsite you can find to ensure you do not miss the car museum. I have visited a lot of car museums over the years but IMHO none come close to the Mulhouse example especially if you like Bugattis.cheers,
