Brexit Campaigner blows whistle on..........

Brexit.

A Brexit campaigner has told Channel 4 News this evening that Vote Leave cheated in the 2016 referendum by over-spending. But the prime minister’s political secretary says the allegations are “factually incorrect and misleading”, and outs the accuser as gay.

Staggering!

The time to put the brakes on Brexit has gone.....if this is found proven it must be cancelled. Democracy has been seriously compromised....possibly to a criminal extent. The Electoral Commission have been informed.

Best to ignore Bulletbrain as he spends his life trawling the internet looking for nasty things to cut and paste to support his own remoaner views!

Eh?? Not another dyslexic on the forum? *-)

FYi it was broadcast on Channel 4 news tonight......it even says so on the opening post plus the clip. *-)

https://www.channel4.com/news/brexit-campaign-was-totally-illegal-claims-whistleblower

I agree it's nasty though.....extremely nasty if as it seems his allegations are found to be true. Even nastier that May's secretary political secretary 'outs' the guys sexuality which has absolutely sod all to do with the matter. The Electoral Commission are on to it now so some very serious questions need answering about Brexits murky money trail.

Brexit has come off the back of lies, deceit, data theft and dirty tricks......not democracy.

Shameful......the sooner it's declared void the better. It's been an expensive social experiment into sheer lunacy.

Neither of the Beano boys understand the issues at hand here at all. It's an extremely serious matter they think will just disappear by them fooling around and making crass comments. It's an ostrich mentality.

Of course even more awkward for Brexiters is the whistleblower has come from within their own ranks and worked on the Vote Leave campaign, so is speaking from first hand inside knowledge.

It's well worth watching all of that news clip and listening to what Mr Sanni says and necessary in order to understand the ramifications.

As said earlier he did not break any rules or laws as that was before the campaign officially started and was classed as government information. The spending limits only come into force when the campaign starts. Whether you think what was sent out was propaganda, right, wrong or just a waste of money is immaterial as it did not break any laws The Leave Campaign did. Allegedly.

Maybe so but just remember what the generation below yours and the one below them even want. If Brexit goes ahead all it will achieve is a huge hit to our economy and us having to accept the Euro and Schengen with no rebate when we rejoin which we will.

This was on the Leave EU campaign site in November 2015 (sourced via archives) showing irrefutable proof connecting it to the meddling of Cambridge Analytica.

After our press conference on Wednesday some of you asked for more information about our strategy towards the referendum so we thought we’d explain a few things.

Referendums are not elections. In an election, voters choose a person to represent them (even if you only vote for them because you agree with their party’s stance on certain issues), referendums on the other hand are votes based on a specific issue. As a nation, we have only had two in the last 50 years!

On the ballot paper there will be no politicians, celebrities or businesses. There will be one question, with two answers – 'Leave' or 'Remain'.

This is why we will be putting the issues front and centre and we’ve hired the best people in the world to help us make sure those messages are delivered by the right messenger and to the right voters.

Cambridge Analytica are world leaders in target voter messaging. They will be helping us map the British electorate and what they believe in, enabling us to better engage with voters. Most elections are fought using demographic and socio-economic data. Cambridge Analytica’s psychographic methodology however is on another level of sophistication. You can read more about their methodology on their website.

While Cambridge Analytica will be helping with the data, Goddard Gunster, who have fought some of the most contentious referendum campaigns all over the world (with a success rate of over 90%) will be helping us turn that data into a comprehensive strategy. Working alongside them will be Ian Warren, an expert on the issues that matter to people on lower incomes.

After all, Leave.EU is the people's campaign, no voter should be left behind. This campaign is about the message, not the personality, as is so often the case with general elections. This is a referendum, and not any referendum. Britain's membership of the EU affects her people in many different ways. That is why we believe the best people to persuade undecided voters are those in the field who know best, the destructive effect of the EU, and what Britain can achieve outside of it.

The time has come where you, and others, need to start taking this matter much more seriously and quit fooling around.

"In effect they used BeLeave to over-spend, and not just by a small amount ... Almost two-thirds of a million pounds makes all the difference and it wasn't legal."
