jwj
Hi All. Last year we retraced a holiday to the Western Isles and Skye, last done in 2006 without. pre booking sites. We ran into great difficulty getting on sites and ferries last year due to the numbers of visitors and ended up overnighting in lay-bys that didn't suit us and agrivated the locals. We plan to go to Ireland this year in May, particularly to Cork & Kerry. This was last done in 2004 without pre booking as we like the freedom to move on at will. Has any one experience of this area in the last year or two and would we be safer to book sites to be on the safe side. Traveling mid May. Any experiences would be appreciated. Don636
We toured the Atlantic Coast route up as far as Ballyvaughan last year mid June to Mid July and had no problem finding campsites without booking.
