Pump up those tyres!

As my Halfords foot pump recently gave up the ghost by bending I had to find a replacement. I did an extensive study of past experiences of MMM contributors as well as other sources. In the end I decided on a bikehut performance Track Pump (primarily meant for cyclists) with a claimed top pressure of 160psi. At £25 from Halfords I have rated it as a good buy as it has a connector that automatically adjusts to both Schader and Presta valves. Furthermore, the pressure gauge appears to be accurate in as much that it agrees with the digital gauge I have. Extremely pleased so far and I had no problem putting a few psi in the rear tyres on my Motorhome up to the recommended 65psi.

Exercise - wash your mouth out !!!!

For 40 years we carried a foot pump and never used it - come to think of it we never needed the 12 v inflator away from home either - but we still carried it - and I tested them both every now and then just in case!

Hope it keeps you fit !!
