Sparky7
Hi all helpful ones,What's the best way to clean all the damp spots/fly corpses from the insect mesh fitted into the windows? I've tried wet wipes, but don't want to apply too much pressure & it hasn't worked.Yours in anticipationSparky
StuartO
I use a damp cloth with an assistant simultaneously doing the same thing from the other side, so as to apply counter-pressure and avoid stretching the net.
Brock
Corpses with a soft brush. You can use a vacuum cleaner if it has a low setting and a soft brush attachment. Check to see how robust is the fitting of the mesh because as you are aware, they are delicate. For the stubborn marks, Stuart's suggestion is on the same lines as we did. We used a mild detergent, such as Fairy Liquid, diluted in a bucket of water. Wife cleaned gently on one side, I held a board up on the other side to counter the pressure. It made my arms ache! On delicates, my wife say gently and often.
