mansell Posted January 23, 2007 Share Posted January 23, 2007 I have a 640 Starline and apart from the usual caravan rattles at the rear I have 2 that are driving me mad both seem to come from the area in the front corners where the blinds are housed, up to now I cant seem to stop the noise, has anyony had a similar problem. Bill Ord Posted January 23, 2007 Share Posted January 23, 2007 Hi, A friend of mine had a problem with squeaking from his Remis blinds and it was the hold down strap that was causing the problem, it was rubbing in the blind when the van was in motion. In his case it was easily cured by rubbing silicone furniture polish onto the strap and contact area on the blind. Hope this helps, try gently applying a twisting motion to the blind when stopped to see if you can simulate the noise and if possible squeeze the blind to prevent them rubbing when driving to help locate the cause.
