Pete-B
Hi, After giving the van a good polish, which wax would the more experienced among us recommend to seal it with. Thanks for any advice.
HymerVan
Collonite 476 Not cheap but properly applied it will genuinely last up to a year. You refer to "sealing". there are products which are designed to 'seal' the paint but my own preference is to wax only at the beginning and end of the season. Polish should only be used when the paintwork is visibly degraded and not routinely.
Derek Uzzell
I use Bilt Hamber “Double Speed-Wax” https://www.bilthamber.com/double-speed-wax £15 (including delivery) from here http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/bilt-hamber-double-speed-wax-cat13.html#SID=2247 (i’ve recently re-waxed my April-2015-bought Rapido motorhome with this product, having first waxed it in the summer of 2015. The Rapido is parked uncovered outside and ‘water beading’ after 3 years was still pretty good.)
