Billggski
Try these. http://www.swiftmotorhomesownersclub.co.uk/
Randonneur
You would probably be better to download the manuals for your appliances rather than an Autocruise manual and also the Fiat/Peugeot etc manual for the year then you will have covered everything. Our Auto-Trail manual is just a copy of all these things. If you are computer savvy you don't even need to print them out just download and save to computer/phone/tablet whatever you have. Derek Uzzell
The Autocruise handbook here http://assets.swiftgroup.co.uk/uploads/HandBooks/motorhomes/Previous%20handbooks/2008%20AC%20Handbook.pdf relates to 2008 models, but may well be applicable to a 2007 “Gleneagle”. Dave C
I made an enquiry to the swift group regarding my 2007 Autocruise and they made it quite clear that they were not the slightest bit interested so good luck in your search. (Built before swift took over the Autocruise name.)
Len Salisbury
Don't forget the Re-call for you Spare Wheel Carrier it is free. Yours may have had it done previously by previous owner.
Derek Uzzell
I think an Autocruise “Gleneagle” may have been built on an AL-KO chassis. If that’s so, the problem/recall that related to the cable-operated spare-wheel retention system used on Ducato/Boxer vehicles with a non-AL-KO chassis won’t apply to a Gleneagle. Randonneur
If the recall hasn't been done but is needed do you really think that Swift are going to do it, I think not.
Derek Uzzell
The spare-wheel problem related to certain Peugeot Boxer, Fiat Ducato and Citroen Relay X250 vehicles made between 2006 and 2011. Details of the vehicles involved can be found on the DVSA website https://tinyurl.com/y8zz2wwt If an Autocruise Gleneagle were built on an AL-KO chassis, the spare-wheel retention method would involve a ‘cradle’ rather than the ‘winch’ arrangement wherein the defect lay. And, even if David’s 2007 Gleneagle was built on a Fiat chassis (and not on an AL-KO chassis) as it’s a coachbuilt model not a panel-van conversion, the recall might still not have affected it. (It should be possible from the DVSA website to decide this.) If the recall did apply to David’s motorhome but the required modifications have not been made, it would be Peugeot’s responsibility to carry out the necessary rectification work not Swifts’s. Even when Gleneagle models were being built by Autocruise prior to Swift acquiring that company, it would always have been Peugeot’s responsibility to deal with ‘chassis-related’ recalls and not the motorhome converter. Dave C
When I referred to my 2007 Autocruise (above) I didn't specify which model it is. It is a Pinto and built on an Iveco Daily. Swift still did not want to know when I made an enquiry to them. Dave
sonic
Thank you everybody for your replies, have looked at the handbook at the suggested website, as mentioned it is about a swift 2008 models - near enough to mine to be going on with. My Gleneagle is Nov 07 just before they went to swift. All recalls both software and spare wheel frame have been sorted. Once again many thanks to all
