Guest starspirit
Thanks for that Brian. We quite fancy a canal boat as we enjoy canal path walking in no small part because many (but not all) canal folk seem so friendly and outgoing.

enodreven
Hi, Starspirit "Enodreven" is the name of our 47ft Narrow Boat and yes you are correct a lot of the canal folk are very friendly albeit before we had our boat i don't think i would have said that, while some of them were it did seem that it was clickey ?. and as the name if you reverse it says ? they do take a lot of work Brian starspirit - 2007-01-29 1:08 PM Thanks for that Brian. Guest starspirit
Thanks Brian, Having had many boats over the years up to a 32' wooden fishing boat I am familiar with the term ;- "A boat is a hole in the water, lined with wood, into which you pour your money". Also both Doctor Murphy's law and Professor Sodde's law apply at all times. Which is why we won't but one unless we move from Pembrokeshire to nearer the canal network.
