Guest Colin T Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 Anywhere to sleep when leaving the tunnel French end, pef. within a short distance. Thanks Colin T
Guest bb Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 There is a waiting area, often occupied by a few motorhomes, just outside the Eurotunnel check-in entrance, ie it is outside the perimeter. Look for Aire d'Attente. Don't think it has any facilities though.
Guest Derek Uzzell Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 Just happened to notice information on www.campingcar-infos.com about a Eurotunnel aire de services. If you want more details, visit the website, click on the Pas-de-Calais(62) part of the map of France and select the 1st "Calais" entry. Comments about noise at night worth noting however.
Guest Mike B Posted May 15, 2005 Posted May 15, 2005 Hi Colin You can park up right inside the complex at the Elf garage. It's free but there are a few trucks moving about. Buy some earplugs and sweet dreams! Alternatively, a short hop down to the seafront in Calais and there's an aire there.
