I’ve never met her so I take my cue from seeing her on telly and reading the newspapers. She always seemed very pleasant when sitting with Portillo on This Week. I do suspect that she has made enemies in the media and this latest incident seems to show that there are movers and shakers who are out to get her for some reason. She certainly comes in for more criticism and scrutiny than many other politicians. Imperfect she may be, but I don’t think anyone deserves as much stick as she has had to endure.
