At least I can console myself with the knowledge my taxes will no longer be going to the EU B-) ... The amount is so small for most it's not even pocket money, but as a non-taxpayer you wouldn't know that as you don't receive a tax summary. I find it somewhat hypocritical to complain about 'taxes going to the EU' when you don't even pay any tax yourself. My EU contribution for 2017-18 was just £4. Oh you have paid much more than that. The tariffs you mention are mainly non-EU goods.
