Absolutely right and when UN special rapporteur Prof. Alston carried out a study on extreme poverty in the UK and parts with a damning testimony that, " UK austerity has inflicted 'great misery' on citizens with “punitive, mean-spirited, and often callous” austerity policies driven by a political desire to undertake social re-engineering rather than economic necessity. Government has remained determinedly in a state of denial." It begs the question how the worlds *allegedly* fifth richest nation in the world can treat it's citizens in such an appalling manner. If its a thread about what you call one particular case why do you feel the need to bring Brexit and Trump into it , I dont believe either of those has anything to do with this fella or maybe you can show where they do Because it never been more relevant. Stuff like this will only get worse thanks to Brexit. Ive already mentioned that Austerity measures has led to 120000 extra deaths. You can dispute that figure if you like but its undoubtedly led to thousands of extra deaths. Brexit will make Austerity look like a walk in the park because it will damage our economy greater than anything we have seen before. Tories want to sell off the NHS, Trump wants it, they want to do a trade deal with Trump. Doesn't take a genius to work out the outcome of that. That will put millions of people out of the the health care system and at risk. Of course its relevant. To answer your question.....My first school was quite good apart from when "Monkey Moor" decided to chuck me across the class for being an annoying chatterbox :D ....... The boy's school I started at became comprehensive whilst I was there, and when it reopened as as a shiny new comprehensive the special class they put me with my fellow oikes in were'n't required to wear their uniform (I've left out all the interesting bits about the bullies who wanted me to supply them with cut throat razors) (lol) .......... So compared to you hard done by Socialist types *-) .......... I'm well aware of the "systems failures" ;-) ...... I've just refused to use them as an excuse >:-) ..........
