Did anyone see the drama/documentary last night on BBC2 on the political events that ended up with Hitler in power in Germany?

We should all be very afraid, if we’re not careful all the tax avoiding, self serving machinations of Bojo, Rees-Mogg, Raab et al could end up with Farage in No 10! Then God help us, leavers and remainers alike!

Did they mention the FACT that Hitler was voted into power by Socialists? ;-) ...........

Boris Johnson premiership so far:

First week he loses a by-election

First day in Parliament he loses majority

First night in Parliament he loses first vote

Parliament has just managed to p*ss off 52% of the country >:-) ...........

So let them have their little moment of Legislative victory ;-) .........

Then go to the country so we can vote in a proper Tory party of Brexiteers who can tear up their legislation B-) .........

I see Boris has booted out the Tory Losers :D ..........

Just been catching up on todays debate and watching Smugg get a right slap down from Bercow was wonderful. The manner in which Smugg addresses other MP's, even among his own, is disgraceful. Pompous arrogant git.

After Bercow sorted him, he went off in a sulk to slouch across the benches. Whips should have dragged him over the mace, dropped his kegs and given him a sound thrashing.

Be fair, he was just waiting for Nanny to bring his pillow, blanket and horlicks.

I bet the Tories won't be happy with the way this image is doing rounds.

For a supposed Leader of the House he's a slovenly slouch and Caroline Lucas laid into him over his petulant contemptuous attitude.

He's still sore over being slapped down and put in his place by Bercow.....and it seems nobody is interested in buying his daft book which has also been slammed by critics as “reads like it was written by a baboon”, and “too pompous and too cliche-ridden”.

The oh-so-clever floating of a "notwithstanding" Bill to sidestep Fixed-term Parliaments Act looks as if it has been abandoned

Wise heads must have pointed out that can be amended too

Hard to see how Johnson can win 2/3 majority on a FTPA motion

Looks boxed in

So much for Cummings being a genius

How sad for him

Brexiteers will not be blaming Boris Johnson in the event that Parliament blocks Brexit by October 31st, the premise he is likely to use to call an election

https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/articles-reports/2019/09/03/gambles-boris-johnson-taking-look-good-bets

>:-) ...........[/Q

Actually it says only 60% of leave voters wont blame him. That should worry him. It also goes on to show only just over half of leave voters would want a no deal exit. That should also worry him especially if he campaigns on a no deal ticket in a GE which it now looks like he will only get if there is an extension.

Would they win a GE on a no deal ticket because thats the only option the tories have now as he just lied about negotiations with the eu. There hasnt been any. I think he may be fooked

Yeah that's now. Let's see how that goes in the coming weeks. Once people realise Johnson is a self serving charlatan he will lose votes.

Not only votes either, by deselecting he's lost some of the most respected Tory MP's with years of political experience.

As I said to you earlier. No he hasnt, he has just turned the Tory party into UKIP. Its becoming extremist. As Bullet rightly points out he just lost some really good and moderate MP's. Its supposed to be a broad church party but is it bollox now! I was a Tory and they have lost me. There will be many others like me (I know there is). The more extremist a party goes be it left or right they are never going to demand enough votes to win an outright majority in an election are they?

Not only has Brexit ruined this once great nation of ours its seen our political parties torn to shreds. Maybe the later is not such a bad thing but who is going to command a majority government now to get things done that desperately need doing? You seem to think that everyone will jump on your far right bandwagon but they just fecking wont.
