Yet you never wanted to "build a close new relationship with the EU". You voted to leave to "take back control"......then created nothing but a mess and thrown thousands of people out of work.

Which bit of the "BEST EMPLOYMENT FIGURES FOR FORTY FIVE YEARS" is your simple Socialist brain cell struggling to comprehend? >:-) ...........

BTW I have no problem with the UK being nice neigbours to the EU, I don't want them dumping their dross in my backyard, and charging me for the privilege *-) .........

"Nice neighbours"? For the past three years [when you discovered where the EU was] you've done nothing but continually make venomous remarks about anyone and everyone connected with the EU....apart from your PayPal party of pot stirring troublemakers.

As for "dumping their dross" perhaps you'd care to elaborate as that's a typically sweeping generalisation. Also as a non-paying tax scrounging leech you're hardly best placed to pontificate about being "charged ". *-)

Well I'd call them UK wealth creators......ie those who generate genuine tax, not those who just recycle tax ;-) ..........

I spent 10 years living off them when I was in the Navy......... I believe Bullet has always worked for the public sector either directly or indirectly for quasi government owned companies :D ........

Back on topic :D ..........

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/9529059/new-tory-members-stop-boris-johnson/

"Tories need to have joined the party before April 22 — three months before the contest’s ending date on Monday — to be eligible to vote.

A total of 164,000 were sent ballot forms, meaning more than 16,000 failed to join up in time."

You mean you only worked, including when in the navy, for those wealth creators who have offshored their wealth to avoid paying UK tax?

Who do you think pays for the British navy (including while serving your uniforms etc and board and lodging)? While in the navy, you lived directly off British taxpayers, in exactly the same way as do all other public servants.

Were those for whom you made your curtains and pelmets not taxpayers, paying you for your services out of their taxed income? Even if you made pelmets and curtains exclusively for little old ladies living off the state pension, the money they paid you came from taxpayers.

One way or another, every penny you earned came from taxpayers. Who else? Still no bananas! :-D

Nit picking again Brian *-) .........

When I say wealth creators I mean those millions of folk who don't work for the public sector ;-) ........ie those folk who provide the tax to pay the public sector wages and pay for investment in the UK .......

You do realise the navy is part of the public sector, don't you? :-D

You do also realise that in the absence of a public sector there could be no private sector? At least, on the evidence from the rest of the world that seems the case.

The public sector provides the underpinning infrastructure on which the private sector stands. It employs mainly the private sector to do so.

In the absence of a public sector, else could those services be financed? Private insurances and road tolls, with private military contractors for defence? Now, why does no-one anywhere else do that? Tough, innit? :-D

Over rated in relation to what? How over rated?

Are you under some illusion that all public sector employees are blissfully unaware if it's shortcomings - despite the number of internal critics and whistle blowers who make their criticisms openly? Do you know of some "just perfect" alternative to a public sector? Do tell.
