Isle of Skye closed!

We had a great week on Isle of Mull, and as weather was holding thought we’d take the opportunity to go to Skye, rather than just drive home to south west Wales. Nice enough here, especially the north end, but summed up by notice at a hotel “closed until Easter!” Most frustrating is there are only two campsites which have a licence to be open in the winter months, situation made worse by discouragement for wild camping in vans. (It isn’t legal, despite common perception, wild camping rules are intended and always were for tents.)
