I think had Farage carried out his threat of standing candidates and split the Tory vote we'd be looking at a very different outcome, quite possibly a hung parliament. J/start is right about the media though who mounted a relentless smear campaign against Corbyn which worked.

What absolute cobblers *-) .........

Corbyn was a Terrorist Lick-spittle for decades >:-( ........

So is your Tory party......you never let facts stand in the way of ignoring an inconvenient truth do you? :-|

Have the Tories ever sided with Terrorists who murdered "BRITISH" innocent men women & children? :-| .....

You see Pelmet this is whats wrong with you. You need to come up with something new instead of slinging "losers, remoaners" out all the time.

We Brexiteers only started replying in kind :-| ..........

After you LOSERS refused to accept the democratic result of a legitimate referendum ;-).......

Are you going to accept the result of the election? (?) .........

Rubbish! Everyone had to accept that the referendum outcome was to leave. The implications of laving are that the economy will suffer, meaning that everyone's (which will include the Brexiters - except perhaps those who actually promoted it) standards of living will suffer. The campaign was generally dishonest, and no-one yet truly knows why so many people voted to leave, and why that was to do with the EU. Accepting the outcome doesn't imply agreeing with it.

Do you really think people who see the outcome as potentially damaging, to themselves as well as to everyone else, should simply join the lemmings at the bottom of the cliff without protest?

Democracy is a continual argument between conflicting points of view. If the argument ceases, democracy dies. You think you've won, I still think we've all lost.

This isn't over yet: it may not be over for decades. The moment the economy falters, or even fails to grow, the arguments will re-surface. If the nature of our society changes as a result of whatever trade deals are done, the arguments will re-surface.

This whole silly, unnecessary, enterprise has opened up a deep rift that will, I fear, take until all those who can remember it are dead and forgotten, just as the two world wars are remembered by those who were involved.

On which note, this is not the end, it is not even the beginning of the end, and I somehow doubt if it is yet the end of the beginning.

Typical short term thinking. If tax payer media is supposed to follow the line of the party in power, how happy will you be when that party is left wing? It will be at some time. Hostage to fortune?

Taxpayer funded media should not have "ANY"bias *-) ........

But its been abundantly clear our taxpayer funded media has a Left leaning bias :-| .......

As has been shown by their well paid Luuvie gobs**tes and even by Mz Munchkin's Lovin interview with Nasty Grandpa ;-) ........

I reckon she'll get some Corbyn jam for Christmas >:-) .......

Dave, your version of bias, as is clear to anyone on this forum, is anyone who doesn't agree with your viewpoint! So your judgement on political bias is inevitably off centre. You see communism where others see mere socialism, and others again, see right wing bias. It is not something that is capable of exact measurement. It is a judgement that can only be settled through democratic consensus, meaning we all, and not just you, get the right to judge.

Let's face it, the usual suspects will carry on as normal with their incessant whingeing and whining. I think it is time to just ignore their posts and let them wither on the vine.

Their dream of a Communist Britain has turned to dust. Let's spend our time looking to the future. :D

Oh dear, you seem to have a persecution complex. I frequently disagree with others, as you would know if your read more than just the posts that "interest" you. But I asked for proof, which means posting up instances, with dates and times, as I have had the courtesy to do in response to your requests for proof.

I promise not to reply claiming that some naughty hacker got into my account six years ago, and put them there without my knowledge.

All you offer is mere assertion. So no proof then? Its only fair to ask - you always want the proof!

Don't see how that is petty, it was three members of HM forces killed. NI is not irrelevant to the rest of the UK, because that little issue of the NI/Republic border has not yet been resolved, unless you accept that a border down the Irish Sea is the equivalent of settled. Not many in NI agree with that definition of "resolved".

Yep...how do you think Israel was born?

How do you think the UK was born? *-) ........
