charleydog
It could be that even that stopping for food in supermarkets on the way home could be a problem, seeing a brit camper in the car park. causing resentment amongst the locals *-)

weldted
Not where we are, we have a holiday cottage near Chalus, Haute-Vienne, we are in lockdown only permitted limited travel. Just been shopping in our large British reg Motorhome. Car park full two French cars moved to allow us to park, in the queue all standing 2 metres distance. People explained to us only so many at a time allowed in and no more than three of anything. No hostility at all just polite and helpful.
colin
From another Forum, it's when you are in UK you get the morons. The supervisor I spoke to said people are being proper nasty to staff (spat at) when challenged over the amount of stuff they are trying to buy. She said that if it carries on they will close the doors, full stop, for the sake of their staff.
