Vixter Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 I used to like these forums, the contributors to Motorhome Matters in particular have not only given us practical help but also much amusement and entertainment. However, with increasing regularity it seems that when I drop in on an interesting topic and find that the first few postings are potentially helpful to the originator and interesting to the rest uf us; then in no time at all - usually when one of a small group of frequent contributors becomes involved - it gets personal, political, rude and downright unpleasant. It's sad really, because very often you have an interesting point to make, but you entirely forget your manners. Reference the recent post by Hymer 1942. How insensitive some of those comments were, made by (presumably) civilised human beings. For heaven's sake guys, don't go off thread unless it's of interest to the readers, and if its going to get personal, keep your testosterone for a PM, the rest of us REALLY DON'T WANT TO KNOW. Lighten up, put your ego to one side and get out in your motorhome. Vixter
howie Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Hi Vicky. The annoying thing is that individually both Frank and Richard are interesting and really nice people to talk to. They have already been warned re. future conduct and what a shame if they are banned, not only for themselves, but for all of us who enjoy their contributions. Lets hope they see some sense before its to late.
Guest peter Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Who said she was referring to Frank and Richard?.
