rooster63
Decided to SORN van as not likely to be using it in near future (and also helped spread the cost as up to now had insurance, MOT, services and road tax all in the same month). Have got the vehicle and habitation battery on trickle charge, usually on for 3 days then switch off for 4. Have drained all the water and flushed through.Removed soft furnishing as van doesn't really get any sun on it to keep it warm and dry. Is the van going to suffer in anyway if left like this for 3 or more months? How long before the tyres develop flat spots? (will check pressure every month). Am able to move the van back or forward a metre or two whilst staying on my property. Is it worth starting the engine every month or so or does that do more harm than good?
