IMP
In the process of changing our motorhome and will need to purchase a TV, Looked at the Avtex, but would appreciate views on the Falcon Camping ones - as they are somewhat cheaper.
steve hill
Might be wisest to ask yourself some questions first such as: How much can I afford. Do I want a Smart TV. Do I want a TV that can record/play to usb/disk. How much will I use it. Do I want a DVD with it. What size do I want. I went through all this recently, unfortunately they did not make a TV that did them all..... Best of luck. I chose an Avtex in the end it was a compromise and Stream to a Laptop. IMP
Thanks for your response, Steve. The Van that we are looking at comes with a satellite dish built in, so the higher spec is makes more sense, I guess. Ian
jobboyce
I have had a Falcon TV NEVER again, bought a Avrex and it has been great. Pays your money takes your choice. I also have a Satellite dome. ????
whiskers
I have a Vision plus with sat receiver and Freeview. I found that the viewing angles were very good like on the Avtex.

IMP
Thanks to all for responses. I had never come across the Cello brand. However, spec for spec - it looks like a very well priced product! Will have to give this some further thought. Cheers Ian
Frankkia
I was always an Acted fan but our last one was terrible. The picture quality was so poor with problems with contrast even after trying every setting available. Reds were bleeding into all the blacks so any scene which was dark or a person with a dark completion was just red. If you have enough space for a 24" TV then I can highly recommend the Sharp LC-24DHG6132KFM which will run from 230 volt also 12 to 24v. It has a satellite receiver built in plus a DVD player and can be connected to your WiFi for Netflix YouTube etc. Currently available from Amazon for £219.99.
