Batteries

If the batteries are normal 'wet-acid’ type, a reading of 12.1 Volts seems to be widely quoted as representing a state of charge approaching 50% - which is about as low as is recommended you go.

The trouble is that accurately establishing the state of charge may not be straightforward while the battery is in situ in the motorhome and (quite possibly) powering something.
