peejay Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 We are scheduled to collect a new Fifer from Darren and Dave soon, hopefully just after lockdown, fingers crossed. Anyone else got one on here? More specifically a Fifer Touring M. Pete
Derek Uzzell Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 Andrew Bromley owned an East Neuk Fifer Touring M for a while, changing it for a VW T6-based camper in 2018 https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/East-Neuk-Fifer-Touring-M-Campervan/49879/ https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Oil-Change-or-not-/48689/ and, as you’ll see from the first link above, current forum-member “HymerVan” apparently still has a 2017 “M”. There’s an owner review here (though you are probably aware of this) https://eastneukcampervans.co.uk/new-models/fifer-m-motorcaravan-motorhome-monthly-review/
peejay Posted November 4, 2020 Author Posted November 4, 2020 Thanks Derek, I knew there was someone currently on here with one but couldn't remember their username. Pete

I have been pleased to help peejay with some comments about the van
raskl Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 Hi, we've had an old, (but new to us), Fifer S for almost a year, and plan to keep it. It's got everything we need and it's so compact we can go anywhere. Only thing we miss from our previous van is a shower, so if we ever change it we'd go for the Med size. We've managed ok without it but it would be nice to have that luxury. We don't have an oven, but we have a small microwave that sits on top of the fridge, so that's useful on hook up. Hope you've got your van now and been able to get some use of it. Enjoy! :-)
peejay Posted January 1, 2021 Author Posted January 1, 2021 Hi Raski, We saw an older Fifer S at a show a few years ago, it was the build quality we saw on that model that eventually decided for us to purchase from East Neuk. I liked the very clever slide out toilet in the S but unfortunately they don't sell that model anymore, only the M and L variants. So yours might become a collectors item in the future (!), If you do decide to go for the M then i'm sure you will get an excellent price for your S as they all seem to be like rocking horse poo to get hold of on the second hand market nowadays. Pete
