On a well-known consumer tv program a few years ago they tested a few of these so-called steering wheel locks. The longest it took to remove them was 2 1/2 mins the shortest time was 10 seconds

Always bear in mind that the thief isn't all that bothered about causing damage to your pride and joy

PS. The tester was a reformed 'Bad Lad' employed by the tv company B-)

My latest layer of security (after extra door locks, steering wheel lock, seat reversed with padlock, engine fuse removed) is car parked in front of 'van on our drive. Skodas apparently difficult to break into, more than you can say for Transit!
