rajohno Posted January 20, 2021 Share Posted January 20, 2021 fairy liquid and any other dish-washing detergent are full of salts which is not good for paint or metal parts, I use modern agents such as Demonshine that put a waterproof barrier on the surface once it's cleaned. ron. Posted January 22, 2021 Share Posted January 22, 2021 Yes, Fairy Liquid has about the same PH as rainwater and is then hosed of with tap water, so not a lot of damage there then.
