So they are using the dirtiest coal available to make the hydrogen.

 

And IF the project is successful they MAY be able to use carbon capture and bury the carbon under the sea.

 

I predict the hydrogen project will be successful. And they will spend the next thirty years solving the problem of carbon capture - which even on controlled semi industrial trials has never been better than 85% effective. And uses 30% more fuel during the process.
