Wingpete
If wanting your drinkies cooled down, why not dig a small hole and pop the the bottle into it ? The temp of the ground, or better still, the sandy beach, is always a few degrees lower than the surrounding air.
Guest starspirit
If you then dig your hole up and put it in the fridge you can keep things cool on the move too?
will redfearn
You could also wrap them in a wet towel. The evaporation creates a heat loss and keeps the drink cool. Also if you wrap the bottle in the towel and pace it in a bowl of water the supply of water to the towel will be replenished, if you can keep the drink that long!! Fetch Carry
Don't go to deep though or you will start heating instead.
Tony Jones
Will R has an important point here which should be recognised. Whose idea was it to use the words "drink" and "keep" in the same sentence? Tony
