Polarbear Posted April 27, 2021 Share Posted April 27, 2021 Evening I have a dometic rms8401 fridge when it’s switched on it goes straight to 12v and alarm goes off, when you press 240v, gas or temperature buttons it does nothing it’s like it’s frozen, I’ve disconnected fridge etc to try and reset but no luck, does anyone have any ideas please Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
onecal Posted April 27, 2021 Share Posted April 27, 2021 Have your 220 v connections checked by an electrician and ensure your voltage is not below 190 v Also leave the door of your fridge open and use a hairdryer carefully to expel any moisture around the fridge light switch plug Some times you may need to disconnect and reconnect this plug ( a little Vaseline may help) Have all connections checked at the rear of the fridge (behind the grills) that the are OK All fuses need to be also checked for corrosion Reset by disconnecting and reconnecting Hope this helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
