A neighbour has a new LMC (A700 I think) and whilst I have not seen inside it yet it is big (6 berth), slab sidedly ugly, and has the door on the wrong side which added to having cost upwards of a king's ransom leaves me underwhelmed too.

Not sure about Geist, but Lord Munsterland Caravans (LMC), is part of the Hymer group, and has just launched a Hymer B series (A Class) clone range, called Liberty Finish.

Three models, 590 (longitudinal permanent double bed in rear, drop down double at the front), 680 (single beds at rear, drop down double at the front) and 690 (transverse double over garage at rear, drop down double at the front).

Geist are built by LMC specifically for the UK market, so are rare. TEC motorhomes are built in the same factory, all brands that are owned by Hymer.

Given a free choice, I'd go for Hymer's Burstner brand any day - great choice, well built (better than Hymer), good prices, and good UK backup at many different dealerships - so not too far to go.
