I won the monthly prize in one of the club magazines for my suggestion of putting the mesh behind the grill on my 544 but that was about 8 years ago. I've still got half the prizes! Derek Uzzell Posted June 25, 2021 Share Posted June 25, 2021 If you want exactly what Hymer used in Year 2000, you will almost certainly need to contact a Hymer dealership. If you just want protective 'mesh', this material is widely advertised (GOOGLE on "vehicle grille mesh"). Much of the wire mesh advertised seems to be of the woven type, but welded mesh would be preferable as, when cut to shape, the edges stay together better.
