747
On my previous van I had a 6 metre GH awning fitted. It used to act like a sail on a ship in a light breeze so I had it removed (it took 3 men to take the weight of it). I left it at the company who removed it as they said they may get a big horsebox conversion or motorhome that wanted it and I would split the money with them. That is why I hung on to the 3 legs and the bracings. Anyway, the Company has wound up and I am looking for a home for the legs etc. I don't want any money for the kit, so if anyone is interested in it, they can have it. ps, the makers say it is the Rolls Royce of awnings. Hans
Awnings are the most frustrating rolls attached to RV. It is all about brackets to wall or roof. And they can not take the load of nature force.. But Thule And fiamma can not follow the demand of their products. Long lead times for A camping Parasol.
