Bedford aire

Hi, an article in the local newspaper stated that a motorhome aire is to be set up in one of the town centre car parks on a trial basis this spring. The town centre activity has declined over the years and the council has looked at creating a motorhome stopover as a way of increasing footfall. The town centre is not the smartest, tidiest of places but the river embankment with its floral gardens and park rivals any other town centre beauty spot. No details yet as to wether it will be free overnight or not or a precise start date. The flowers will be out in the spring and summer so if you are passing by come and see for yourself

Having worked in Bedford for some time I agree that the riverside is by far the best asset :-D However, it's not the easiest of locations to navigate even in a car.
