Den
Our MH can be on either the heavy or light chassis. I’ve measured from bolt to bolt centre and they measure 71mm Which would point towards the 118 I think. Our local Fiat only 1/2 mile away used to be a professional Fiat garage and extremely good. But they dropped Fiat and now no one is available to take a look. Pain !! I think I’ll order a wheel from a place that happily excepts returns. colin
What's the MAM of your van? From your earlier thread I understood it to be over 3.5t, if it's 3,650/3850kg then it will be the light chassis, if it's 4,250/4,500kg then it should be on heavy chassis. If a 16" steel wheel then if black will be 5x118 and if grey will be 5x130
Derek Uzzell
In this recent forum thread https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Angles-Mort-signs/59860/#M710127 Den confirmed that he owns a Carthago C-Compactline I 143 LE model and that this was built on the 'heavy' Ducato chassis. So it doesn't matter what colour the (steel or alloy) wheels Den's motorhome has, if it's built on the 'heavy' Ducato chassis its wheels will be 16" diameter with a 5 x 130 PCD and M16 x 1.5 wheel-bolts. Den
Hi It’s definitely the light chassis with PCD118 wheels and yes they are black. It seems they are less popular than the 130 wheels. Most places out of stock. So I’ll keep looking today and if I don’t find one for a reasonable price, I’ll take a spare tyre.

It appears he was incorrect as he has confirmed it is a light chassis with 16" 5 x118 wheels. It is worth knowing that the 16" 5x118 wheels are black whilst 5x130 are grey as I have known owners of light chassis models blissfully unaware they were carrying a wrong 5 x 130 wheel
Derek Uzzell
Well at least he won't need the Angles Morts stickers... (Presumably the Carthago is UK-registered in the Private/Light Goods VED category.)
Den
Hi Ray Perfect. Sent a message, they replied in 5 mins and I placed the order with delivery tomorrow. Excellent service. I’ve fitted the Angles morts signs just to not cause any problems in France. Being an A class it looks heavier than it is. I’ve used some Valero of a commercial grade we used in hospitals It stick’s really well, but it also peals of ok. Signs are fitted on plastic sheet. So all ready to go. We’ll almost ?? My daughter says diesel is short in France. Thank you to everyone. It certainly is one very good forum ???? Den
