  1. On my recent renewal with Comfort they issued a Green Card at no cost with the insurance certificate etc. Perhaps they have changed their policy regarding issuing them and hidden the cost in with the premium?
  2. What is the wheel base? "The Peugeot Boxer dimensions has three wheelbases starting at 3000mm (L1), the middle wheelbase is 3450mm (L2) and finally the longest at 4035mm (L3). https://www.vanguide.co.uk/guides/peugeot-boxer-dimensions-key-measurements-compared/#:~:text=Peugeot Boxer Load lengths&text=The L2 has a floor,mid-height with bulkhead).
  3. Can't be sure but is it this plug/skt ?
  4. Thanks for the info. They carried out recalls on my MH when new in 2017. I was not too impressed by their customer service but at least they were there.
  5. Not likely to be head parts so I wonder what engine parts were in the sump?
  6. Perhaps there is some monetary arrangement between Fiat and Selenia that stipulates only Selenia product will be officially approved? https://uk.pli-petronas.com/en-gb/selenia-mopar
  7. I don't suppose Fiat officially approve it but I use Millers which say it meets the Fiat spec https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133544559542?
  8. Perhaps the automatic box is heavier and so the chassis is uprated from the normal light chassis front axle weight of 1850kg to the plated 1960kg? Perhaps the larger hubs and wheels with the larger PCD are part of that uprating?
  9. Yes you need a C1 licence to drive it [3500kg -7500kg]. It should be road taxed as a private - HGV [P-HGV], what does the V5c say the revenue weight is? You could get it downplated to 3500kg by the likes of SvTech https://www.svtech.co.uk/
  10. I also got mine for €6 at the same place
  11. Is this a variant of the Truma combi operated by diesel with EH function i.e. heats water and space heating or is a separate space heater e.g. Webasto / Eberspacher / chinese with water heating still possible with gas/electric?
  12. Just to recap there has been no problem with it since you changed the gas from the Spanish bottle?
  13. have you got a meter to enable you to check voltages?
  14. I guess that you need the services of someone with knowledge of DC and the use of a meter. As I understand it the operation is basic with an electrical supply which goes to the condenser via the thermostat. Is your the model with the condenser separate from the main unit? I think the engine running has no effect, the fridge is a pure 12v/24v unit which operates at all times from the leisure battery.
  15. Any help?https://www.vitrifrigofridges.co.uk/installation.htm The manufacturer says "In our experience it is extremely rare for a DC compressor to fail and the most common fridge fault is electrical. This is because DC fridges are very sensitive to voltage due to the relatively high start loads. If the wiring is undersized or there is any corrosion, or a poor connection in the wiring, the compressor will not start."
  16. I am not sure what a Pacific card is. it is mandatory to purchase the PASS’ÉTAPES card, currently €5, and use it to obtain entry etc. The card has / had to be recharged to pay for your stay. You can of course recharge the card with the amount to pay on the on site terminal using your credit card. Something in the back of my mind is recently receiving an email from them which I think said you could use your own CC to pay for the stay without recharging your card but I didn't keep it?
  17. For good advise and all things to do with Thule wind outs Hillview Awnings are hard to beat https://www.hillviewawnings.co.uk/
  18. The mains input is a kettle lead that plugs into the EBL front panel. Is it firmly in place?
  19. I presume you have checked the power at the ebl mains in?
  20. I have attached a link to the EBL 29 manual. See the drawing on page 14 - the mains indicator is on Block 3 pin 6 and can be traced back to the charger output pin A7 https://www.camping4u.no/bilder/artiklar/pdf/E5717.pdf
  21. The 240v icon is actually a 'charger on' one. It is an output from the EBL which indicates that the charger has an output - and therefore there must be a 240v input. I have attached part of the schematic drawing of my EBL 271. The 'Mains indicator' output to the panel is on Block 8 pin 6. This comes from the output of the battery charger pin A7 / PCB pin A10.
  22. its just the way they work. The float action is fairly primitive and in the green most of the range. Just look on the yellow as a warning and don't be surprised when it runs out on the red. If you have an auto changeover then leave it on the in use bottle and when it gets into the yellow open the second bottle so that it changes over to it when the first bottle runs out.
