Tracker
We were tempted to having a look with a view to restarting our continental meanderings but a quick look at the list of exhibitors at the Malvern show next weeend looks most uninspiring, especially given the on the gate entry price of £8 each. We never pre book in case the weather is bad and the gound is a swamp - no joy in that! Have Warners lost the plot? Why are all the usual dealers missing? What do they know that we don't? Even though it is just down the road from us, I don't think we will bother to spend £16 to see so very little after all.
Brock
Dealers probably have no new stock and have already sold most of their stock for next year. One German manfacturer is taking orders for 2024! With the shortage of new motorhomes, people have to hold on to what they have whilst those without a motorhome are finding dealers have very few used 'vans. Private sales are also hitting high prices.
david lloyd
Richard - this isn’t the usual Malvern (Western) motorhome show it is the former caravan show just been taken o went Warner’s so I wouldn’t expect too much at this stage - it’s a bit much for the dealers straight after Shelton Mallett too. mtravel
It's the same all around Europe. Hymer group didn't show up at Parma show. That means 50% of european brands missing. If I decide to sell my 2020 PVC (34,000 KM) I will get 5,000 euros more than what I paid it. Funny
colin
We went to Peterborough show earlier this year, nowhere near as many dealers or vans as 'normal', with most of next year's order books full then dealers are not likely to be spending out to attend a show with nothing to offer.
