For once you might be right about something!

Ta Da!

My old Golf Mk4 which I had for about 12 years as a run around initially was fantastic, indestructible but all the new stuff is overpriced rubbish apparently.

I could do with changing my car really (we only have one now) but have no idea what to get.  Maybe a Toyota Supra from the 90s. 😎

Except he's not......and you know it. It's just another example of his rabid irrational Germanophobia. Naturally he links to his Beano comic, the Daily Wail.

Parkers is a more credible source and gives a more detailed guide. Note that most are small to medium size suitable for short trips. If using a car for business clocking up motorway mileage then the top 4 listed are all German. https://www.parkers.co.uk/best-cars/most-reliable-cars/

Auto Express also compile a list placing Skoda top of their list; https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/driver-power/64280/top-10-most-reliable-cars-buy-2022 Skoda is owned by VW.

Much of this is relative to the YT clip I posted yesterday........which nobody has watched.

I'd suggest caution and do your fact checking before quoting what this respected member claims to be the truth .

As an owner of two Suzuki's I was in agreement with the link in OP, that is until I saw the list of supposed 'most reliable used cars', the Suzuki Alto is listed at number 8 and the only Suzuki on the list, that model Suzuki is widely known as having some of the worst reliabilities of any recent Suzuki.

So the American's who bought Vauxhall have flogged it to the French.

No doubt we sold it back in 1925 because of Brexit?🤣

You are so afraid that Brexit will prove to be a failure that you mention it even when the topic is anything but.

The fact remains that the British car industry has gone for years.

What little remains is foreign owned and obviously the profits go abroad.

However, speaking of the economy, local newspapers report that your Christmas advertising is rather poor and aimed at conditions of recession.

May you confirm ?
