Margaux2
Can anyone help please with repair or replacement of Schaudt LT460 control panel fitted to Hymer BML 890? Thanks
Robinhood
Apuljack supply and/or repair numerous Schaudt panels. That particular model doesn't appear on Apuljack's listings, but a number of very similar ones do, so it is possible they would quote you for investigation/repair. If it looks like an electrical/electronic issue (rather than physical), worth an enquiry, I think. https://www.apuljackelectronics.co.uk/
Derek Uzzell
I'm guessing that this recent MHFun thread described the fault https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/schaudt-control-panel-lt-460.273583/ The green light should illuminate when the control panel has been switched on. The statement in the initial posting "All the 12v functions still work as far as I can see" seems to confirm that the On/Off button is OK and the fault is confined to the light itself. I believe Hymer's BML-I range was introduced in 2021 when the list price of a 'basic' new 890 was over £100K. There's a review here https://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/motorhomes/reviews/motorhomes/details/motorhome-review-hymer-b-ml-i-890/1029284 It's mentioned in the MHfun thread that warranty work had been carried out on the motorhome, after which the green light had ceased illuminating. This might simply be a coincidence, but assuming the motorhome is still under warranty, surely the 'no green light' fault should be rectified by a Hymer agent. Derek Uzzell
The Schaudt LT 460 control panel seems to be a revised version of the LT 453 panel described in this document https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1924361/Schaudt-Lt-45-Series.html The asking price in adverts for the LT 453 (from non-UK vendors) is from €125 to around €200. It is possible to download from the Schaudt website https://www.schaudt.gmbh/de/service-support/downloads.php a copy of the operating instructions for a LT 460 A panel that appears to be the sole LT 46x variant at present. (I can't find any for-sale adverts for a LT 460 panel and I'd anticipate it would need to be specially ordered.)

Its made solely for Hymer so they knocked me back to them. Back to square 1!
Derek Uzzell
It is quite common for motorhome control-panels to be manufactured for a particular make. In such cases, if the control panel develops a fault, sourcing an exactly matching replacement may only be possible through an authorised agent for that make of motorhome. Have you contacted a Hymer dealership about this? If so, what was the response?
