  • crocs changed the title to Rapido C55

I assume you are interested in the C55 low-profile coachbuilt motorhome, rather than the C55i A-class model mentioned here

https://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/motorhomes/news/rapido-launches-compact-a-class-range

An advert for a C55 low-profile with 9-Speed automatic transmission is here

https://www.brownhills.co.uk/56523-fiat-rapido-compact-c55-140bhp-auto.html

"C" models are 'compact' (which actually means narrow-ish) and there's a short review of the C55 here

https://www.practicalmotorhome.com/reviews/rapido-c55

Rapido's description of the C55

https://www.rapido-motorhome.co.uk/motorhome_low-profile_serie-c_c55.chtml

indicates that (as standard) it has Truma diesel-fuelled heating and a compressor fridge. As is usual with Rapido, there are several option 'packs' that can be chosen when buying new. These include a solar panel and lithium batteries and the price can rise significantly as a result.

2023 Rapido documentation can be found here (and I note that all RHD "C" models are on a Fiat Ducato base.)

The C55 is built on a 'light' chassis (GVW=3500kg/3650kg) and the payload is given as 610kg. This should be adequate, though the model does have a large rear garage.
