J9withdogs
I have recently read that you should not have your home address in your SatNav in case your vehicle is stolen, complete with keys to your front door. I love pressing the 'take me home, Jeeves' button on mine and sitting back to enjoy the ride. What do others think? Janine

Guest caraprof
There's no point at all in setting your home address. Everyone knows where they live and when I'm in the middle of a strange city for instance, which is where satnav really comes in, I simply input Bolton city centre, which is what I have as my home setting. The satnav then guides me out of central London, or Birmingham, or where ever I may be and, as soon as I'm on the motorway and confident of my way home, I switch it off. Dave Newell
Yup I've put in my local town centre as my home address, I know the way home from there >:-) . Still with new users coming on all the time this is one those little bits of info that is worth repeating from time to time. D.
chas
Unfortunatly many of us park our vans on the front drive at home and of course this lets the local villians know that there is a good chance that you are away, and the house is empty. Keen eyed neihbours are very useful. chas

MOTORHOMER
We have the centre of the Esso Refinery as our home address. I know the way there from there as I've done it often enough over the last 40 odd years Motorhomer
