Help - Ford Transit Mk6 Engine Failure

I have a 2005 Transit and unfortunately my engine has gone last weekend. The garages I've spoken to won't touch it so I'm currently stranded...

However, I'm too attached to my van and would love it if someone could help / give me some advice:

- is it worth fitting a new reconditioned engine?
- who would be able to fit such engine?

Most decent garages should be able to source a reconditioned engine or arrange for yours to have a rebuild. 
we use a commercial garage for our transit minibuses and midi coaches. 
he has no problems finding, gearboxes rear axles ( all reconditioned) 

so I’m sure whatever you are someone will be able to help specially a more commercially oriented garage.

Depends on how much damage done to your present engine , if its worth reconditioning or not 

Both Secondhand and reconditioned  ones are available of course, if you wish to keep your van going as you say your attached to it .

Some may actually fit the engine for you ,at an extra price of course .

The van is currently near Gatwick, so if anyone could recommend a garage or someone who could take a look would be much appreciated.

Hi 

I think you should have no problem around your area .Maybe a look in your local paper I think you will find a few selling secondhand/reconditioned  engines and some may fit it for you.

Just make sure,  

You get a good warranty on same
