stranded15
I have a 2005 Transit and unfortunately my engine has gone last weekend. The garages I've spoken to won't touch it so I'm currently stranded... However, I'm too attached to my van and would love it if someone could help / give me some advice: - is it worth fitting a new reconditioned engine? - who would be able to fit such engine? Thank you! š

Den
Most decent garages should be able to source a reconditioned engine or arrange for yours to have a rebuild.Ā we use a commercial garage for our transit minibuses and midi coaches.Ā he has no problems finding, gearboxes rear axles ( all reconditioned)Ā so Iām sure whatever you are someone will be able to help specially a more commercially oriented garage.Ā den
onecal
HiĀ Depends on how much damage done to your present engine , if its worth reconditioning or notĀ Both Secondhand and reconditionedĀ ones are available of course, if you wish to keep your van going as you say your attached to it . Some may actually fit the engine for you ,at an extra price of course .Ā RegardsĀ
