w1ntersun
Hi, Just had an email from a fellow camper who suffered a power surge during a storm in france which took out most of his electrics and he still has some problems. I know you can get surge protectors but where do you fit them. The only place I can see is under the floor before the consumer unit ? Any hints please as I think its about time I got one fitted. Derek Uzzell
I've not come across a 230V surge protector designed for leisure-vehicle use but, if one does exist, you'd definitely need to fit it before the consumer unit to gain maximum benefit. One for Clive I think.
davenewellhome
I've looked for such a unit several times as I've been asked for them but I've never found one for a leisure vehicle. If anybody does know of such a beast I'd be very interested to know about it. D.
