dawki
Hi again everyone has anyone had had any experience good or bad with Benimar motorhomes I’m looking at the Torosso which seem a decent van but would be interested what you think
Derek Uzzell
I'm pretty sure you mean "TESSORO" (Spanish for "treasure") and there are details of current UK-specification models here. https://www.marquisleisure.co.uk/benimar/tessoro Unlike the majority of non-UK motorhome converters, Benimar manufactures UK/Irish-specification coachbuilt designs with the habitation area's entrance-door on the left (UK nearside). For the non-UK markets (in left-hand-drive of course) the entrance-door is on the right (UK offside) and - where the Tessoro range is concerned - there are 11 models built on either a Fiat or Peugeot base. If you haven't already read it, you might be interested in this longish 2023 Benimar-related MHFun forum thread. https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/benimar-are-they-any-good.276853/

Dave R1664232361
I am on my 2nd UK Specification Tessoro and have had a lot less problems with them than my previous Autotrail (would never have another modern AT due to poor workmanship). The Benimars are well made with a good spec for the money and I would definitely have another.

ColinM50
If you can post a picture of the lock, someone may be able to help. Many converters use the same suppliers

Derek Uzzell
And the exact model, as Benimar began to build Mileo-badged motorhomes as early as 2010 and on a Ford base as well as on a Fiat base. (I notice that there are several Facebook groups for Benimar motorhomes, but I'm guessing that they have already been tried for hinge-related information.) Geeco
Benimar is part of the Trigano group of companie with production in Spain. I have owned two motorhomes from that group, an Autotrail and currently an Adria. Both motorhomes often use common suppliers for various components or products. If you cannot find spares from Benimar try one of the Trigano brand spares they may be the same. Cheers,
