Vic
Are we saying that all young drivers are unsafe? Isn't down to proper training and discipline? Many years ago, I was employed as a young lad, by Mrs Windsor. I was allowed to carry a loaded Lee Enfield 303, and expected to use it when necessary. But, as I was under the age of 18, I wasn't allowed to have a pint, although I was allowed to drive. The possible changes in law now may only allow people over the age of 21 to have a drink. A bit of a miff for many of our lads in Afghanistan and Iraq. I would certainly say that it would be sensible to create a ruling where at a certain age, possibly 18, all things would be allowed. Age of consent, age of marriage, drinking, smoking, driving, voting etc. No confusion then.

Clive
First we learnt how an engine and gearbox worked by having to repair both in an old small truck we had at school. Then we learnt the basics of driving around the playing field perimeter track. Good time and good life skills as well. Pity more schools dont have the ability or desire to do such things today. C.
