Rosie
Please can people recommend countries/sites for escaping the British winter? I have heard Sicily is an option, apart from Spain.... Which are the best months to go? Any info/advice gratefully received. Rosie

peterjl
Hi You say "escape british winter" but what about considering winter in the ALPS! It can get very cold but it is also very beautiful - you don't have to ski to enjoy it as there as you can snow shoe the paths - brilliant! detourer
As already said...........Morocco. Do southern Spain upto and over Xmas......Xmas is always great on some of the campsites. Go a little inland for New Year [3 Kings], then over to Morocco for as long as you like. Take no notice of those who have not been and never will go, its [Morocco]a fantastic Motorhome/Caravan destination. Some campsite are poor but there are more and more Euro standard ones opening all the time. ..
Rosie
Sounds good to me. Co-incidentally have just been watching Rick Stein there which has certainly whetted the appetite....
