teccer Posted September 14 Share Posted September 14 off to spain next week with my wife who is Irish with eu passport, we are going before the ETA is in force but coming back in December after ETA is in force so we can leave the uk next week as usual, my passport stamped but wife's not, when we return in december will I have to have my photo and fingerprints taken or only next time we go out? hja Posted September 14 Share Posted September 14 I think you mean the EES system which is due to commence in November. Given that the know procedure is biometrics on entry to Schengen, but then some check on leaving Schengen I would think there will be some electronic check because if I have understood it correctly there will be no stamping of passports.
