Cattwg
I realise that this is not a strictly Motohome subject but it could affect us all. I received a warning to-day about a nasty virus called Life Is Beautiful Apparently it arrives as a powerpoint e-mail and of course should not be opened. Norton and Microsoft are, I'm told aware of it. I have no more information. Regards Cattwg

Cattwg
Hi Peter, Thanks for pointing out the hoax. Sorry if I alarmed anyone - all I can say is that I acted in good faith. Regards Cattwg :$ :-D
Mel E
The purpose of such spoofs is generally to clog up the world's email system as everyone sends warnings to their entire address list about the 'virus'. It's the same as chain letters in principle and, yes, in the early days of the internet and email, such spoofs did succeed in shutting down the email system. Even now, Tiscali for one, has problems when this sort of thing happens. Mel E ====
