Mel B
The Flumps - I remember them very well, they were on around 1979-81 as I named my first dog after one of them, Pootle. They 'children' flumps were called Posey, Pootle and Perkin. Posey and Perkin were the older ones and Pootle was the little one who always sounded if it had a cold ... can't remember if it was male or female! It wasn't Godfrey Cushion, it was Humphrey Cusion with his long nose and Dusty Mop, in Hickory House I think. Can't remember the bloke who was in it unfortunately who kept them from squabbling all the time.

Guest Tracker
If you are really old you may recall a ten minute slot every Friday on BBC (before it was 1 or 2) called 'Out of Town' with a curmudgeonly old geezer called Jack Hargreaves? The fore runner of many wild life programmes maybe?

Mick H: I seem to remember that when Dick Barton finished it was replaced by something about a circus for a while and the Archers came after that ???? Can't remember what it was called, and I don't think it lasted long. (I think they should bring back Dick Barton). Mick H.
