crinklystarfish Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 A non contentious blonde muse.Did you know that blonde is one of the few adjectives in English that has a masculine (blond) and feminine (blonde) form?He has blond hair; she's a blonde woman. What utterly useless fact(s) can you add?
davenewellhome Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 All polar bears are apparently left handed but none of them are actually blond(e). Their hair/fur (call it what you will) is actually colourless and tubular, the air trapped inside each tubular strand helps to insulate them from the cold. D.
Randonneur Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Well Dave, aren't you a mind of information. I am the same but with useless facts that have stuck in my brain over the years. Such as: Marie Antoinette had a bigger bust than Jayne Mansfield Birmingham Town Hall foundations have mother of pearl in them. There used to be a daily dose of trivia in the Daily Mirror 40 years ago and some of them stuck. Merry Christmas Sylvia

BGD Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 OK, here's one more of those useless fact thingies for the Pub Quiz then...... Which animal (apart from other human beings of course!) is the most dangerous to humans? (I'll post the correct answer in a little while..............) :-D
icelander Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 cats - because when I chase them out of my garden I end up falling over and hurting myself
BGD Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 crinklystarfish - 2007-12-23 2:24 PM Mosquitos Animal, not insect.
davenewellhome Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 But what's that got to do with blond(e)s? At least mine had some reference to them. D.
Philman Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 It's the female mosquitoes that cause the trouble, strangely they only seem to attack the ladies amongst us. Phil.
