Will fartypants still be laughing after the Brexit Party have nicked enough Labour voters to make a Labour Government impossible?

No doubt they'll be claiming victory when they lose again like last time (lol) (lol) (lol) .........

The LBD team have run a brilliant campaign and it's rise from four blokes chatting over a pint in a pub to what literally went viral almost overnight, is pretty amazing. The billboard posters served as very appropriate reminders of the lies and hypocrisy fed to the acolytes.

Lets face it, the Remain campaign still hasn't fully recovered from the damage inflicted by the 'support' of David Cameron & George Osborne.

But its recovered enough to scare the Brexiteers off having another referendum.

I'm not scared of another in out referendum ;-) ........

I'm scared of a rigged Labour in out referendum 8-) ........

It won't be an in/out choice if conducted properly. It will be "this is what you're going to lose if you want to leave" and "this is what you're going to get if you want to remain in the EU".

Yet you weren't scared of the blatantly rigged referendum Leave campaign. Interesting.

What lies and rigging went on from the Remain campaign? I've lost count of the blatant lies spewed out by Leave campaign and the rigging has long been widely known and well documented. Quite possibly one reason Johnson is determined to deny the public access to this report which has been cleared by intelligence for publication. Obviously the detail within must be damaging to the Tory party otherwise he'd have no problem with letting the public see for themselves. This is how a police state behaves....not a democracy.

Might be best to go along with Dave, and confirm his belief that we have left, then he might stop repeating the same old stuff time and time again.

Incorrect.......You are the one Brian who has persistently ignored the FACT that we were told what would happen "IMMEDIATELY after a Vote to leave" ;-) .........

"Publishing Treasury analysis, he said a Leave vote would cause an "immediate and profound" economic shock, with growth between 3% and 6% lower."

Do I need to explain the meaning of the word immediate? :D ........

Explain "immediate", er, no ta! But explain "he", as above, would have made all clear. You've run this argument, and that BBC summary, before. First, it is the BBC paraphrasing Osborne, who was in turn paraphrasing treasury analysis of the forecast effect of leaving the EU.

If you pause to think for even a nanosecond, you will realise that a) Osborne is not an economist (and was a highly political chancellor), and b) that the forecast was predicated on the UK leaving the EU if it voted to do so. Otherwise there would need to be two sections in the analysis, one for a forecast for the expected impact of the vote, and a second for the expected impact of leaving. There was no such division, and we still have not left.

Chuntering on about what Osborne said, using treasury data, in order to try to knock some sense into the heads of Brexiters before the referendum, makes no sense at all. He deliberately misrepresented the treasury analysis for political effect.

You like the drift of what Osborne said, but only because it reflects what you want to hear, not because it accurately portrays of what the treasury (and all other respected economists) actually said. Any form of Brexit will be disadvantageous for the UK economy, and a no-deal Brexit will be the most disadvantageous of all. That is the message.

BTW, the actual documents is entitled: HM Treasury analysis: the immediate economic impact of leaving the EU. Available free here: http://tinyurl.com/zn9uads

Do please note that it is "the immediate economic impact of leaving the EU", and not the immediate economic impact of voting to leave the EU. You really should download a copy and read it, because then you'll know what it actually says. :-)

Politicians, eh? You just gotta believe their every word, don'tcha? Especially if they seem to be saying what you wanted to hear, even if it is arrant nonsense! Still, never mind, eh? :-D

Seem to remember you believing your (once) "Sainted" Theresa on exiting the EU over nine months ago March 29th. You even used it as your posting signature..."Independence Day"....until that fizzled out like a damp squib and you ended up looking silly with everyone laughing as you had to remove it. Next came your current Dear Leader who promised October 31st "come what may, do or die in ditch". It came and went and typically the LIAR didn't carry out his "promise" and "die in a ditch".

Looks to me like you keep backing LOSERS! (lol)(lol)

Where is the loser lie? Are you seriously saying that the treasury published "loser lies" in May 2016, which is the date of the document? Funny a department you think spread disinformation should turn out to be clairvoyant, isn't it?

Whether or not you could be bothered to check facts, instead of just sucking up whatever your favourite politician of the day (in that case Osborne) said, tells all really, doesn't it?

He misrepresented the findings of the report either for political advantage, or more charitably, not being an economist, he didn't understand the difference. But when he spoke he was referring to that document, the title of which is clear enough, so I fail to understand how he could make such an error (he would have been briefed before he was let loose on telly), or why you cling to what he said instead of the document itself.

Now how many times did I tell you the forecast related to leaving the EU, and not to the outcome of the vote? You could have checked for yourself at any point, but you chose not to, instead relying, in the face of repeated cautions that he'd got it wrong, on the word of a politician. So, whose fault is that - yours, or mine? :-D
