tonyishuk
Usually lift the bonnet and there will br a plate that gives axel weights then train weight sort of; 1800. Front. Total axle load 2000 Rear. Total axle load 5500 This the train weight, IE weight of mhome + trailer. Rgds
Keithl
Either in your Burstner handbook or on your Burstner VIN plate. On your VIN plate the first line will be your vehicles GVW (aka MAM or MPTLM) and the second line will be the Gross Train Weight (GTW or possibly GCWR). If you subtract GVW from GTW this will be your theoretical maximum towing weight BUT some vehicles do allow a higher trailer weight if the towing vehicle weight is reduced to keep the Train Weight under the GTW figure. Billggski
OK if you passed your test before 1997, or you are limited. https://www.gov.uk/towing-with-car
fesspark
just noticed on brit ferries that the max charge size for a trailer is 4 metres?most vehicles apart from smart cars need a longer trailer than that. that does not mean you cannot take a longer trailer does it? crocs
The website gives you the opportunity to choose drop downs of ‘trailer’ or ‘caravan/large trailer’. Choose the latter.
